WHAT SPONSORS NEED & WHAT YOU CAN GIVE

People who sponsor events are always on the look out for "Great Product Exposure"!
The more you can show your potential sponsor that their product will get noticed at your event the more likely you are to attract great sponsors.

Below are 10 tips on how to get sponsors for your event.

1. Be crystal clear who & what you are promoting. What is the event about...Who will be attending and how many are you expecting.

2. When is the event and where is the location.

3. Make great looking mock-up flyers that have room for potential sponsor information and show this flyer to your perspective sponsor.

 

4. Program books always attract sponsors big and small.

5. Make a list of your friends who have business and call them about sponsoring your event.

 

6. Look in the local paper of Chamber Newspaper and see who's buying the "Big Ads". Make a list and give them a call.

 

7. Get someone to donate the cost of your printing (program book and posters) and give them the back cover os the program book.

 

8. Make sure you have different levels of sponsors. That way you can attain a variety level of income from...Platinum...Gold & Silver Sponsors.

 

9. Use a large screen to add video still clips of your sponsors logos to show at the beginning of the event (while people are socializing and being seated.

 

10. Make sure that you thank your major sponsors and mention that you appreciate all who added to your event!
